Up close from
Windy Ridge, approximately three minutes from the "Plains
of Abraham", located at the base of the North East side of Mt.
St. Helens. The North East side (to the right of the mountain) collasped
during the 1980 eruption. At the base of that North East side is called
"Plains of Abraham".

Climb to top of Windy Ridge (this location is half way
to the top) Windy Ridge is the nearest organized location
for a view of Mt. St. Helens.
Mt. Hood (under clouds), Yes, you will view its location
in Oregon clearly.)
Cascades Peaks Restaurant (fantastic view of Mt. Adams)
Iron Creek Falls (gorgeous creek travels part of the route along
side road)
Fire Pits, and much more. Plenty of space between campsites and
many river sites are available at Iron Creek Campground.
